Registration for the 18th FINA World Masters Championships is open. The deadline is June 24. 

Coach

Howard Lee has been chosen as the coach for the U.S. Masters Swimming contingent competing at the FINA World Masters Championships. He is a member of Bay Club and has previously participated with Stanford Masters Swimming. The former captain of the varsity swim team at Williamsville East High School in New York, Lee is a USMS Level 3 coach.

Lee is an adjunct clinical assistant professor in the oncology department at the Stanford University School of Medicine. A Korean-American, Lee was born in the U.S. but speaks Korean. He spent two years in Seoul, South Korea, completing an intensive program at Yonsei University and received the Korean Language Institute Award. He's excited to combine his skills as a swimmer, physician, and healer in serving as a coach for USMS's athletes, as a representative for the organization, and as a cultural ambassador.
