Jim was the Asphalt Green (AGUA) Head Coach and was committed to the AGUA Masters’ vision and Asphalt Green’s broader vision. AGUA had a tradition of transforming lives and building community through sports, fitness, and play for all. The team was not-for-profit and welcomed all swimmers and hoped to help them develop their skills at all levels. AGUA members supported the community with their free ‘waterproofing’ program which helped kids of all ages. The members donated money and volunteered to give swim lessons to children from the New York City public schools.
