Alamo Area Masters at Alamo Heights - AAMAH

We welcome all registered USMS swimmers at daily practices, M-F, from 5:00-7:00 a.m. with our USMS Level 3 Head Coach, Allison LaField. AAMAH also has several USMS Level 1 coaches readily available to offer in water assistance everyday of the week. Being a AAMAH member also allows you use of our pool from 11-1pm, M-F and Sat for lap swimming. Our pool is a 3 yr old, state of the art, indoor facility. We have 13 lanes each 25 yards long. The cost to join our team is $65.00 a month as an AAMAH registered team member, and 75.00 for those affiliated with other teams. We offer a military/veteran/first responder discount, as a thank you for their service. The discounted cost is 45.00 a month. In addition to AAMAH monthly fees we ask that you join USMS upon completing the free trial period. We always welcome fellow USMS out of town swimmers visiting the Alamo City to drop in for a practice with us, free of charge.

Practice Information

AAMAH practices are individually geared towards the swimmers abilities. Some of our athletes have been swimming for years, competitively or for fitness, some are triathletes, and others are brand new to the sport or just learning to swim for the first time in our Learn To Swim Program. We also cater to the military including active/retired and those with injuries or amputations, and those training for or just beginning their service to our country. We also welcome all first responders.
We have a unique, cohesive and diverse group of swimmers who exude acceptance, positivity and motivate each other to reach individual improvement goals, while sharing in each others individual successes. Our group ranges from an Olympic Paratriathlete to adults conquering their life long fear of the water.
