NOVA of Virginia Aquatics
NOVA of Virginia Masters swimming program is a USMS Gold Club that serves swimmers age 19 and over who wish to swim in a structured training program. NOVA Masters is the home of World Aquatics Masters World Top 10 swimmers, multiple USMS National Champions, very highly achieved triathletes, and swimmers who love the sport and enjoy the team's camaraderie.
Practices are coached by Mark Kutz, a USA Swimming Level 4 certified coach with over 20 years of experience coaching masters swimmers. Mark was 2012's USMS Kerry O'Brien award winner, which is given in recognition of coaches who have done a great job in building strong USMS membership in local communities. Mark's enthusiasm and attentiveness as a coach bring a fantastic pool deck atmosphere like no other.
Practices are M-F at 6 am, as well as MWF at 8:30 am. The early morning practices are fast paced, high intensity training. The later morning practices typically do the same workouts at a more moderate pace. Please contact us if you're interested in joining and with any questions you might have!
