Philadelphia Fins Aquatics Club
Our members range from swimmers who have never competed, to first time competitors, to national record holders. We welcome swimmers of all ages, skill levels, genders and sexual orientations. The team provides challenging, well-organized, coached work-outs. Some members focus on local, regional, national or international swimming competitions and/or triathlons. Others swim to keep fit. The Philadelphia Fins Aquatics Club was founded in 1988 for LGBTQ+ swimmers in the Philadelphia area and remains Philadelphia's premier LGBTQ+ masters swim team. We are a member of United States Masters Swimming (USMS) and International Gay and Lesbian Aquatics (IGLA) organizations. Since 1988, Fins has grown to be the largest masters swim team located in Center City Philadelphia.

These instructors have furthered their swim-lessons instruction education and have passed the certification exam. Note: A certified ALTS instructor might not be at all locations or workouts.
USA Swimming Foundation
The USA Swimming Foundation logo identifies clubs that receive support from the foundation for their adult swim-lessons program. These grant programs offer adult learn-to-swim lessons at a reduced cost. Most also are led by a USMS-certified adult learn-to-swim instructor.
