Wallingford Family YMCA Orcas
The Wallingford Family YMCA Orcas is a registered and approved US Masters Swimming Program that is organized for the purpose of cultivating the enjoyment of swimming for adults (18+) of all skill levels and abilities. Members may work out in one or more training groups (competition, fitness, social, developmental), usually under the direction of a USMS Certified Coach, or on their own through customized training plans. Members join for fun, fitness, skill development and improvement, and have the opportunity to compete locally, regionally, and nationally in age group swim meets both in-person and virtually. The WFYO also offers Adult Learn-To-Swim (ALTS) classes for non-swimmers, stroke development for swimmers looking to improve their skills, training and coaching for triathletes and open water swimmers, and dry-land training for swimmers looking to stay fit - both in and out of season.
